1. Discuss your personal public speaking background up to this point in your life/career. Explain how much you have OR have not had the opportunity to speak in public. Give examples.
2. Explain the emotions you feel when you have spoken in the past. Would you classify the feelings as anxiety,
nervousness, or fear? Or perhaps your experiences have been positive and filled with confidence. Explain and give examples.
3. Discuss your career/major plans. How do you see public speaking impacting or benefitting your potential job/career? Give examples.
4. Discuss your personal strengths and weaknesses as a speaker/presenter. What about you can the audience appreciate? What about your speaking abilities do you feel will be your biggest challenge?
