3) Social Worker Role-Assume one of the following roles: school social worker, child welfare social worker, foster care social worker, housing social worker. From the perspective of that role, describe three (3) social work skills, discussed in the course that you would utilize to help the family. Specifically explain how you would practically apply each skill in order to effectively work with the family. Place each skill in bold-face type. (3 pages)

Intervention such as Motivational Interviewing to help motivate Kyla to remain sober and explore barriers to sobriety. Case Management to connect Kyla to community resources that she may need and advocate for her to secure stable housing that will help her maintain sobriety and have her children with her. Cross sector collaboration with the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) to support the DCFS family service plan and provide feedback to DCFS regarding Kyla’s progress in treatment.
