In this discussion, you will consider the arguments in a letter to the editor.

Part 1: Consider the following two letters to the editor from examples Chapter 6.6, Exercise Set V:

Letter 8, by Doug Kroker
Letter 9, by Jane Roberts
In this discussion, you are to analyze and discuss at least one of the letters. More specifically, in numbered premise/conclusion form (and using the language of propositional logic), illustrate and explain how the following arguments might be structured. Note that in each case, the arguments may be enthymematic—that is, they may be missing certain parts. Your task is to fill in the missing parts, making the premises and conclusion explicit, as well as to analyze whether the argument is sound or unsound.
