Draw an electrical layout for the following situations. Just sketch on paper and scan or take a photo with your phone.

1. A residential kitchen 16’x10′ with one overhead light.
2. A bedroom 12’x14′ with one overhead light and one wall outlet that is controlled by a switch.
3. A living room that is 15×20 with a ceiling fan and overhead light. The overhead light can be controlled from two different switches.

Do not over think this. These are very simple drawings. Please use the appropriate symbols. They can be found in Figure 24-7. There is useful information in Figure 24-8 as well. Sample electrical layouts can be found in Figures 24-10 through 24-19. Drawings do not need to be to scale.
