Observation Assignment

The purpose of this assignment is to create connections between what you know about child development and what you see in children’s behavior in real life. For this

assignment, you will complete a one hour observation session in which you observe two different children (they do not need to be interacting). During the

observation, you will take detailed notes so that you can later transfer the notes to an anecdotal record form. You should turn in two anecdotal record forms – one

for each child. That means 4 quadrants for each child for a total of 8 quadrants.Â
