Order Description
Take us on a field trip to your favorite place in the world. This could be a place you have actually been, or would like to visit (this location will be different than a location you visited during our ‘field trips’ in class). Your report should be at least 1000 words and use several key terms or concepts that you learned from the textbook. Demonstrate an understanding of the Earth science that has created your favorite place. You may discuss plate tectonics, erosion and weathering, landslides, desert environments, volcanic rocks, ocean influences, the weather, etc! – any aspect from the text that can be used to describe how your favorite place came to be. You may focus on a large geographic area and how it formed, or you may focus on a small part of the area and go into great detail about its Earth science influences. Have fun with this project, and demonstrate your knowledge.
