What are the best economic arguments in favor of this purchase being good for consumers? What are the best economic arguments against this being good for consumers? Would your answer have been any different 25 years ago?

Question 2.

Writing in Forbes, Enrique Dans argues that Google might have a monopoly in the cell phone market. How would we know that Google had a monopoly? What would be the consequences? What policy prescriptions might be employed? Would it make sense to break up the operating market into several firms? Why or why not?
