Essays should be titled: Essay # your name (for example: essay 1 Emma Smith)
6. Essays should be 2-3 pages in length, double-space, in 12-point font, 1-inch margins, and
between 700 and 900 words long.
7. The first section of the essays should summarize the issue highlighted in the article, the
second section (the main section of the essay) should contain your analysis using the economic theories covered in the chapters, and the final section should summarize your argument and provide a brief conclusion.
8. Make sure to include in your essay the appropriate graphs used in the book to explain the situation. You can draw the graphs manually, scan them, and the paste them on the essay. Or you could draw them on paint, power point, or word and then paste them to the essay. It is your choice. Just make sure that you include the relevant graphs since failure to include at least one graph in your essay will result in points deducted from your grade.
9. Spelling, grammar, citations and overall appearance also count towards your grade.
