which children and adolescents may be raised in today’s multicultural society. Protestantism, Catholicism, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Baha’ism are just a few examples of religions practiced in the U.S. today. How does religion shape the way children and adolescents view themselves and the world? What effect does exposure to religious diversity have on the development of children and adolescents? In this assignment, you will investigate the answers to these questions by conducting an interview with an individual about his or her religious background, and creating a profile of this individual’s experiences. Prior to this week, you were asked to arrange to interview an individual about his or her religious background. This week, you will interview this individual with the goal of gaining insights into how his or her religious affiliation, or lack thereof, has shaped his or her experiences as a child and adolescent. Before conducting the interview, be sure to prepare a list of questions. You may use the Week 3 Questionnaire Template below as a starting point, although you may modify the template as you see fit. Week 3 Questionnaire Template During the interviews, be sure to record notes about the individual’s answers to the questions as well as any other relevant details or observations. You will use these notes to create a PowerPoint presentation that profiles the religious background of the interviewee and summarizes insights gained from the conversation. After the interviews, review your notes and reflect on what your interviewee shared with you about their religious upbringing, as well as what this information reveals about the influence of religion on the development of children and adolescents. Based on your findings, create a 7- to 10-slide PowerPoint presentation that profiles the religious background and upbringing of your interviewee and shares any insights gained about the influence of religion on the development of children and adolescents. You may organize and design the presentation as you see fit, however be sure to include information relating the following: •Details about the religious background and upbringing of your interviewee •Details about how religion did or did not influence his or her daily life and identity as a child and adolescent •Details about positive effects and/or challenges faced as a child or adolescent as a result of religious affiliation, or lack of religious affiliation •Details about if and/or how his or her religious views have changed since childhood •Insights you gained from conducting this interviewlWeek 3 Questionnaire Template

For the Week 3 Application Assignment, you will interview an individual in order to gain insights into how his or her religious affiliation shaped his or her experiences as a child and adolescent. Use this template as a guide to determine the questions you will ask during the interview. You may add or delete questions as you see fit, but be sure to gather enough information to complete the assignment. You will use your notes from the interview to create a 7- to 10-slide PowerPoint presentation profiling this individual’s experiences and sharing insights gained.
