A book case study draft of the book Enriques Story has been completed in file sent. Insructor has overlook and insisted on making corrections listed below:
ou have the start to an insightful paper, however, two items of feedback that will help you as you revise: 1) choose just one character and 2) Do not focus on the journey, you don’t need to summarize those parts of the book – instead focus on the community of origin – what precipitated the journey?
Here’s an overview of what I’m looking for (instrcutor)
1) Choose one of the characters in the book and provide an in-depth description of that person’s experience with poverty and oppression with examples – For instance living conditions?
2) Clearly identify and discuss environmental factors – what are the community/macro deficits are contributing to their poverty? What are the systemic barriers present for them? For instance for the women in this story there is certainly a systemic barrier re: gender and age in employment.
3) What are their strengths?
4) Are their strengths maximized in their community? What factors in the macro system are preventing those strengths from being maximized? For instance Lourdes has a strong work ethic, but that wasn’t enough to help her move out of poverty in Honduras – why not?
5) What recommendations for change in the macro system/community of origin do you that would have helped your character, or people like them overcome poverty and oppression?
