You are required to watch an entire season of a television series. In selecting the television season, you must also be certain that it contains some romantic and/or sexual content. The television series you need to watch is entourage. ONLY Season one. There are only 8 episodes.

As you are watching the season, take notes on the representations of sex, marriage, and relationships that you see. What is most frequently depicted? What is not depicted at all? Then, you will write a 3-4-page paper about your observations of these depictions. You must speculate on the ways in which viewers of this season might learn from the media content (I have attached notes on theories and information that you need to use in the essay, so the content of the notes should be in the essay).

 You will divide the body of your paper into three separate domains (for example, sexual activity, courtship, breakups, marriage, conflict resolution, etc). These domains must be labelled with subheadings within your paper.

The paper will contain the following elements:

1.     A brief introduction, introducing the series and providing a short summary of the season

2.     A body section, divided into the three domains that you choose to discuss. Each section should be labelled, and should include:

a.     A brief summary of what you saw (representations). Feel free to get creative here. You can talk about character interactions, use of music, setting, etc.

b.     A discussion of the potential cognitive/attitudinal/behavioral/psychological effects that may result after watching this series

3.     A brief conclusion, summarizing your points, ending with a general comment or assessment of whether this series is realistic/positive/etc.
