epidemiology interventions

Hand washing is one example of an intervention, so simple and yet so effective. Think about its roots in science/epidemiology.

Think of some other examples of interventions, and how are they inspired by epidemiology. Examine the levels of interventions and give an example of one type. Your

example can be a practice, program, or policy; try not to duplicate topics or answers of your peers. Then connect it back to the science behind it (the epidemiology).

Example: Hand washing is a primary intervention that has its roots in the study of the spread of disease. The CDC has a webpage that shows the science behind why

people wash their hands. In addition, there have been numerous studies showing that just the act of using soap, even non-antibacterial soap, can reduce the rate of

infection.
