Essay Excel|Follow the below steps to create your own financial workbook

divide your expenses into at least three categories, for example: utilities, living, etc
use appropriate formulas to define subtotals for each category, and the total of all monthly expenses (note, selecting individual cells is not appropriate here lieu of defining cell ranges)
use an appropriate formula to identify the net cash flow (income minus expenses)
use the appropriate functions to identify the highest, lowest, and average expenses
use conditional formatting to positively identity positive or negative cash flow, red background for negative, green background for positive cash flow
apply line borders and cell styles in the locations that are most appropriate
create a pie chart that depicts monthly expenses for the categories you defined in step ‘c’ above; ensure there is enough data represented in the pie chart that the chart can “stand on it’s own”, i.e., I understand what the chart is trying to depict by looking only at the chart; insert a description within the chart that describes what you are trying to depict in ten words or less
create a column chart that defines monthly expenses in non-categorical format (no categories displayed); ensure there is enough data represented in the column chart that the chart can “stand on it’s own”, i.e., I understand what the chart is trying to depict by looking only at the chart; insert a description within the chart that describes what you are trying to depict in ten words or less
move the pie chart to sheet 3
move the column chart to sheet 4
*Insert new rows at the top of each sheet, merge the rows and center an appropriate title
*rename sheets 1 through 4 as, Cover, Data, Pie, Column respectively.
