For your final project you have chosen two unlike musicians (Steve Reich vs. James Brown)
to compare and contrast, in terms of their music and in terms of some of the common themes in American music. You have listened to their music, conducted research using primary and secondary sources, considered their careers and art in light of recurring themes in American music. You have formed and refined a thesis about the relationship of the two artists.
The final step for the final project essay is to write an essay of 1750-2000 words that satisfies the following requirements:
