Essay on development of nanotechnology- Philosophy

For the purposes of this exercise, let us assume that nanotechnology will be perfected so that we could create most anything we want with little to no cost. Let us say that this technology just landed in our laps overnight–that it dropped into our present world. (Yes, this is certainly not how it would develop since society would change during the development of nanotechnology. But, we are going to ignore that fact for now.)
Give a prioritized list of at least three areas (e.g., military, computers, AI, medicine, food production) that nanotechnology should be applied to first, and give your reasoning for those priorities.
Avoid an ad hoc approach to your priority list. In order to prioritize, you need some overarching criterion to establish most important to least important. Discerning a good criterion by which to judge is essential for giving adequate reasons for your priorities.
