Essay on if Sherlock Holmes is the most perfect reasoning and observing machine that the world has seen

Rational Holmes: In “The Adventure of the Scandal in Bohemia,” Conan Doyle describes Holmes as “the most perfect reasoning and observing machine that the world has seen.” The implication of Doyle’s description is that Holmes is devoid of emotion, a personality type that might indeed make him an effective detective. For this paper option, I welcome you to test Doyle’s claim (technically, I guess it is Watson who describes him like this). So is Watson right? Is Holmes a perfectly rational creature? Or is there evidence in the stories that his personality is actually more complex than this? If so, if you do find evidence of emotion in Holmes’s character, how does this emotion manifest itself? Is it an asset or a problem?Use MLA styleGive Your Paper A Title
