Topic:For this paper students will select TWO or THREE of the primary sources listed below and answer the following question: Compare and contrast the perception and portray of a leader in two or three of the readings below and how do these differences reflect the difference societies from which they came?
Assignment:For this assignment, students will compose a well-constructed HISTORICAL ANALYSISusing 2-3primary sourcesto answer the assigned question. Your goal is to view the sources as a scholar and utilize them to develop a fuller understanding of EuropeanHistory.
Formatting:Each paper must contain a cover page and proper citations, be typed, double-spaced, 3 to 5 FULL pages in length, and use Times New Roman 12pt. font. I will grade you on the quality of your writing as well as the information conveyed. The Writing Center, offers free help in writing essays and I would encourage you to utilize them as a resource.
Citations:In order to avoid plagiarism you must be citing all information in this paper – this means that each paragraph needs at least one citation (use parenthetical citations). Remember that you must cite all information that comes from the documents not just quotes. Also, be sure to include a works citied page. Papers without citations will not be accepted.
