This case describes a situation at a small town Texas hospital. While there aren’t any specific questions to use to frame your thinking about the case, you certainly can use the information from Chapter 9 to examine the followership challenges the nurses faced and describe how they were able to meet the moral demands of followership. Chapter 8, on leadership ethics, might be useful if you want to look at the issue from the other side of the dynamic. You should then develop a formal business letter addressing this issue. You chose to whom the letter should be addressed.
As usual, you are to address information from the case itself in a brief summary and provide any other relevant points for consideration,but you should focus on the analysis of the case. You must use a minimum of 3 citations from your textbook.
