Description
This assignment asks students to describe, evaluate, and respond to a text through thoughtful rhetorical analysis. Students will also research the background of the specific topic of the argument in order to be informed about the issue, situation, details, ideas, evidence, and viewpoints raised or discussed by the text. Students will then use this analysis and research to evaluate the effectiveness of the argument, and respond to the arguments and ideas raised by the text.
