Our first film, Even the Rain, was itself critical of the possibility of political film-making. It was also critical of people of European background (like Guevara himself) acting as potential saviors for indigenous peoples. How does Motorcycle Diaries compare with the kind of exploitation/entertainment that Even the Raincritiques?
