Explain alternative pattern for subordinates and peers
One of your classmates pointed out that we sometimes use that alternative pattern for SUBORDINATES and PEERS as well. You may choose to create your example based on writing to one of these audiences as well. When we deliver negative news to customers (and sometimes coworkers), what do we lead with? Why? Do you agree with this format? Dream up an original example to illustrate your point.
Be specific with why you agree or disagree. Don’t just say: “yep, sounds fine.” How does this approach help you to fulfill one or more of the 3 Purposes of Business Communications?
