In Wuthering Heights explain the definition of love as presented within the work. Begin by defining the term and use evidence from the text to support your argument. Be sure to address the core values of community and respect as you consider your definition of love.
The Writing Assignment should be at least 500 words, double-spaced, have a maximum font size of 12, and be in MLA format. Make sure to use MLA documentation format and include a works cited page if you use outside sources. You are not expected to use outside sources, but if you choose to do so, ensure that you are properly documenting those sources.
Assignment 2
Write 150 words. In Wuthering Heights, why do you think Catherine chooses Edgar even though she believes Heathcliff to be a part of her own soul, as she puts it? What do you think of her decision? Again, if you’re able to make connections to the works and ideas in previous semesters, go ahead. One of the goals of the course is to make connections between changing and unchanging ideas of love and desire throughout literary history.
