1. Identify and briefly explain a new “legal event” (e.g., a new court case or a new U.S. Supreme Court decision, federal statute, Executive Order or federal regulation) that (1) occurred in 2017 or 2018, (2) involves one of the issues, laws, cases, etc., we studied this semester and (3) you believe will significantly affect businesses in the U.S. Please provide a citation or bibliographical reference for the “legal event” that you discuss.
2. Explain why the “legal event” will have a significant impact on businesses in the U.S.
3. Tell me whether you believe the “legal event” is good public policy and give your reasons/rationale.
