Hello, Class, and welcome to our final week!
As you have learned throughout this class, critical thinking is a process that requires you to reflect on and evaluate your own thinking. We have barriers to overcome,
research to complete to determine the credibility and reliability of messages, and we need a structured approach to address and solve problems. The Elder and Paul
text clearly explains how the benefits of critical thinking outweigh the costs.
On page 402, there are several benefits (Elder and Paul call these characteristics) of becoming an advanced critical thinker, which we have discussed in previous
weeks.
Of the benefits listed, which would be the most challenging to address and which would the most meaningful to you?
