Actual course discipline: Feminist Theories
Feminist Critique- You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your understanding of the readings, films, lectures and class discussions. I encourage you to be both creative and bold with this project. You will provide a critical feminist theory- informed analysis of a cultural “art form” in any medium. Which include the following: film, literary work, musical performance, popular analysis of persons or events, advertising campaign, etc.) Your critique will be 5-6 pages. Along with your critique is your ability to place the art form within a historical context. You must draw on a minimum of 3 texts from the course materials and a minimum of 2 scholarly sources found through research. This will consist of 25 percent of your total grade
