                                              Directions:

Students will watch a film of their choice and pay particular attention to the music in the film.

Including many details, students will give concrete examples how the composer either adds or subtracts from

the enjoyment of the film with their use of music.

Students will be graded on the following: (Rubric)

  2.  Use of correct language mechanics and punctuation.  10 points.
  3.  Introduction and thesis statement. 10 points.
  4.  Use of details to support the thesis statement from the film’s score and creative elements.  10 points.
  5.  Conclusion and length of paper (paper must be 1 and 1/2 pages, double-spaced, typed/12 font.  10 points.
