This project involves researching courts in the State of Oregon.
PROCESS
1. Select a topic. Identify a court system within the state of Oregon. Your court system can be statewide, county, local or specialized.
2. Do the research. This is more than just a copy and paste exercise. Elaborate! Please assume your audience knows NOTHING about courts, court structure, court processes, courtroom actors, etc. Use your poster to present an informative overview of your chosen court. For example, if you select juvenile courts in Marion County, tell me about them. How do they work? What does the process look like? How many juveniles go though the court process? How many are diverted? Who are the courtroom actors?, etc.
3. Create a poster to visually represent your research. Please translate your research into POSTER presentation form. Your final project should be a complete and thorough analysis of your court system. A person reading the poster should have an interactive and succinct exposure to the content of your research to such an extent that they now understand the system you selected.
FORMAT
The poster template is attached. No need to print the large poster. Please electronically submit the digital form. Please feel free to include graphics and modify the headers to suit your needs.

1. No late posters will be accepted barring an emergent, extenuating circumstance.
1. Grading of the final project will be based on quality of content, spelling, grammar, format, and evidence of original thought with supporting sources.
