A double acting hydraulic cylinder is hooked up in the regenerative circuit. The relief valve setting is 1000 psi. The piston area is 25 in^2, and the rod area is 7 in^2. If the pump flow is 20 gpm. Find the cylinder speed and load carrying capacity for the:

1. A) Extending stroke
2. B) Retracting stroke

FORMULAS:

Cylinder extending speed: Vext = Qp/Ar

”       extending load – carrying capacity = F = P * Ar
