Our Session Long Project for this course is going to entail the development of a collection of research studies. This collection will consist of a series of research studies published in the peer-reviewed research literature—illustrating a specified aspect of research methods.

In this last segment of our collection of research studies will center around research validity—as established in the current peer-reviewed research literature. This final SLP will incorporate an ORAL component through the use of NARRATED PowerPoint slid. You will be evaluated on the content of your presentation as well as the quality of your oral communication skills.

Toward this end:
Peruse the ProQuest database—searching the peer-reviewed research literature for three final causal types of research studies. Select three of your favorites.
Prepare a 10-20 page narrated PowerPoint presentation—summarizing the purpose of each study and detailing the specific research variables and corresponding research design.
For each study, indicate the extent and manner in which each of the following types of research validity is (or is not) established:
Internal Validity
External Validity
Conclusion Validity
Construct Validity
Lastly, to what extent and in what manner has research reliability been established in each study?
