Following are the requirements that the paper must have

1. All pages should have a “running header”.
———————————————————
2. Cite within the text all that needs cited all the way through the paper along with graphs (as we will discuss in class).

3. Title Page, – no page number – make up a company name/logo, use your name or made up company name to me as Dr. Duke, Professor Duke, Professor of Business Communications. Be sure to use color/icons/ etc. to catch the reader’s attention.

4. Title fly page – no page number. Should only have the project name on it.

5. Memo of transmittal – follow the example, make the topic match your
topic, the memo is addressed to me, by you. NOTE – page number is roman.

6. Table of Contents,- adjust to meet your project, must align, must look professional. NOTE – roman page number.

7. Illustration is an option….use it if you want to list your illustrations. NOTE – page number is roman.

8. Executive Summary – Use format in the book for executive summary. NOTE – page number is roman. Single spaced for the paragraphs and double spaced between paragraphs.

9. Introduction – You must have an introduction, ALL of the MIDDLE of the paper you may change out the headings and topic to match your topic. For example,…you do need an introduction; you do NOT need related literature. NOTE – regular page number.

10. Build the middle of your paper. Use proper headings and formatting as you seen in the example, use several (at least 5) graphs/pie charts/etc. NOTE – regular page number. Picture can be used but, do not count as a graph/chart.

11. Conclusions & Recommendations –you must have a conclusion and recommendation NOTE – regular page number. Bulleting this information works really well.

12. Reference Page – you must have a reference page. NOTE – no page number. Again, bulleting this information works well.

13. References- You must have at least 5 references. List them here in proper format Note – regular page number.

14. Pages have copy on the front side only.

15. Headings, sizes, fonts, etc. all should be consistent.

16. Margins. Left margin 1.5”- top, right side, and bottom all 1”.

17. Graphs- Must have at least 5 graphs. Pictures are good, but do not count as graphs.

18. Resources/Citations- At least 5 different citations. All citations list in the reference page must be cited and used in the paper.
