What is Markowitz’s view (below), and does he strike you as reasonable in the way he expresses his support for psychotherapies? That is, does he manifest the sort of flexibility that Blackburn identifies as essential to our freedom? In other words still, does Markowitz show critical mindedness in the way he expresses himself? Or is he asleep at the wheel, so to speak, i.e., not holding his view critically/reflectively?
