Introduction:

Throughout one?s career, it appears as though that individuals who climb the corporate ladder at a faster pace that his/her peers, understand how to manage power & influence. The rules of corporate play are not often provided as a drop down selection list, however, the rules are afforded to the chosen executives as deem be their mentors as worth of selection. In most cases, many of the senior leaders within their organizations often discuss as to who will ultimately will fill their positions upon retirement status or natural staff transitions.

Arriving at X Corporation about 10 Junior Financial Executives were waiting for their initial assignments, as it was everyone first day of work. Fast forward one year with the firm, many relationships have been forged and developed as the senior mentors were calling a few of the junior staff member by their first name. Also, to really show case their talent within the section, a few of the junior executive were chosen to work on high impact projects as they were able to partner with many Vice Presidents throughout corporation, and finally, individual awards were presented during the Corporate Christmas party.

1. Develop a generic assessment of the above using the introduction of what went well, and how could it have been better.

2. Develop a generic assessment of the above introduction of what did not go well and how could it have been better.

3. Describe in detail a generic improvement that you now see as possible for me, to include other parties involved (Peers, Subordinates, Supervisors, and Senior Leaders) and my organization.
