Write a recommendation report about the Gender Gap USA. How acceptable to the public are methods one and two? Evidence?

Identify and compare some specific ways that these intervention methods are likely to be acceptable to the public in your chosen country based on academic evidence and examples. Would they be useful in your chosen country? Why/ Why not?

Consider:

– Are the people in your chosen country socially progressive or are they very conservative? Are there any relevant cultural factors? Evidence?

– Are there similar programmes in existence in your chosen country?

– Public acceptance is the key to successful implementations.

– Ways of measuring public acceptance might be more qualitative, e.g. stakeholder research such as surveys, interviews, observations, and other methods.

– Public opinions change because of factors such as media coverage, hope, fear, government policy, etc., e.g. European countries 50 years ago compared with today.

For 5.1 and 5.2, think about all the different impacts involved and compare them next to each other. You should synthesise viewpoints and give specific implications of implementing the different methods. USE comparative language. Data from other (similar) countries would be very useful in section 5.

6. Conclusion

Summarise each section and produce a brief conclusion. Your conclusion can be bullet points or a short paragraph.

7. Recommendation

Briefly, what do you recommend for your chosen country?

Recommend one of the intervention methods you have described in the report.
