About geothermal energy uses the heat from the earth

Science
1. Geothermal energy uses the heat from the Earth as energy. It’s relatively cost-
effective compared to other sources, particularly for electricity. However, GT
energy production is limited to accessible locations. Is this a plausible future
for GT? Why? How does geothermal energy compare to other renewable energy
alternatives?

2. Solar energy can be used for everything from powering small calculators by using
photovoltaic cells to providing electricity to cities by using concentrated solar
technology to drive turbines. Given solar power’s potential, what do you think
about constructing large solar farms–large areas of land with solar collectors for
energy–in the Arizona and California deserts? Why? What potential dangers must be
considered before acting?
