You’re referring to Dahl in your essay. Which book or article. I’m also not sure which work of Lowi you’re referring to either. Where did you get the descriptions of the models? The assumptions are skewed. Look, all I asked for was a description just from the textbook of Congress and the book description of representation and legislation followed by an expansion of this focused on discretion; that is, the models. This is much more theoretical and appears to be more of a in class essay crafted in an upper level course. I’m confused?

And while we’re at it you need to explain where you came by the trias politica idea of Secondat and why you are using it here. I know what it means but what is its relevance for this essay. I would urge you to make sure that everything in the essay is strictly your own work, or if paraphrasing make sure you show that as opposed to quotes that are not referenced. What you have in the essay is not what I laid out for the class when I went through the in class outline. As it stands this does not address what I expressly asked for.

All I asked you to do is just stick to the book and nice you’ve provided the overview of the structure and functions then turn to the model. You have plenty to draw from: a chapter on a Congress, one on elections, one on parties and interest groups, one on public opinion and one on the media. Use the textbook…you don’t need to go searching for Dahl since its out of context. My point: for some reason you’re making this way more complicated than it needs to be.

The textbook is called We The People, 10th Edition. by Ginsberg, Lowi, Weir and Tolbert. Sources can be two or just the book. The paper should cover the topics: The Legislative Branch, Pluralism, Majoritarianism, Hyper-pluralism, and Interest Group Liberalism.
