Group Project on Amazon|Business

This is a group project.

The additional guidelines is to give greater realism and practicality to your strategic management goals. Namely, you were to apply what you learned in a practical “real world” setting by selecting a company that you might work for one day. By sharing views, contrasts, and comparisons about your strategic directions you would gain insight into perhaps career planning along a particular functionality or path. To some, this becomes invaluable information as it gives you additional breath and depth of knowledge of strategic planning. Remember you are applying your strategy skills so this should indeed be a fun exercise.

Due 10 5 pm EST Part 2: Prepare a brief (maximum 500 – 750 word – 2-3 pages) report that examines whether, how, and why strategic management is/could/should be relevant and important for the specialization (supply chain management/logstics) they have pursued in this degree program. As part of this report, each member will lay out a career pattern in Amazon with their specialization that they just analyzed.

Due 17 10 5 PM EST Part 3: evaluate each of the team member reports. This review should search for patterns (similarities and differences between and across specializations) and evaluate their broader implications for successful implementation of strategy and strategic decision making.

Part 4: The group will then prepare the synopsis report. This report should document the comparisons and contrasts that the team discussed relative to the information in part 2&3, using the company that they selected in part 1 and the career paths they strategized. The synopsis report should be between six and eight pages (1000 words or so) in length, double spaced and according to APA. The synopsis report should include a set of references as well as include each of the members’ part one reports as attachments.
