health behavior change reflection paper

Your paper should be 4 pages long (double-spaced) and must contain the following:

  • Describe the health behavior you chose to change and reason for wanting to change. Back up your statements with research from the text or class notes and at least one outside source.
  • Apply at least one of the behavior change models we discussed in class to your behavior change effort, e.g. you could assess your readiness to change using the Transtheoretical Model or describe your emotional response using the Emotional Cycle of Change, etc.  (others were Social Cognitive Model and Health Belief Model)
  • Summarize progress made on the behavior change.  Include strategies that worked, and ones that didn’t work.  How did you utilize your resources?  In what ways did they help?
  • Describe how you feel as a result of making (or not making) the behavior change.  What health benefits resulted (or could result if you were successful at making the change)?  Again, back up any statements about health benefits with research from class notes, text or outside sources.
  • Include final paragraph: What were your top 5 things you learned from this class?  How will you apply what you learned to make your life healthier?

 

Requirements:

This paper is about my health behavior changes during this semester.  It should include two things,  start doing exercise and adjusting deit to eat more healthy

You can add some extra information into extend the topic a little bit

I wil upload some powepoints so that you can pick some points to talk in the paper

This course is for non major students, so you dont need to write too academic
