1. Identify some of the toxic agents you may be exposed to, and the types of plans that are in place to prevent exposure. What are the acute effects vs. the chronic affects of substances you are exposed to? The goal of this conference is to get an open dialogue going about our personal hazards in the workplace, and compare and contrast safety precautions and response plans in order to view the different standpoints that various organizations may have on occupational safety. It would also be interesting to hear how federal and state regulations have impacted your workplace. Has OSHA or another regulatory body ever conduct audits to measure the exposures or response plans applicability?
