| Assessment criteria: | The essay will be assessed according to the following criteria:
· Ability to describe the stages of the helping process. (25%) · Ability to identify and integrate communication skills within the helping process. (30%) · Ability to Identify and discuss barriers to communication and appropriate strategies to address them. (25%) · Evidence of wide reading (use of no less than 8 academic references) and adherence to referencing standards (APA). (10%) · Adherence to essay writing standards in relation (e.g. flow, logic, punctuation, grammar and spelling). (10%) |
