For the this assignment — Pick a topic from historical astronomy or physics that happened prior to 1900 (not a biographical paper or powerpoint about one person) Presentation Projects: There are two presentation projects. Each project will be worth 50 points. One is due at mid-term of the course and the other is due one week before the final exam. (see calendar for specific dates) The projects can be either a concept paper or a PowerPoint presentation or one of both. The Microsoft PowerPoint presentation will be 20-25 slides with instructor notes and graphics/simulations. OR The concept paper will be a Microsoft Word document with at least 1000 words using at least 5 reputable science resources noted using APA or MLA notations. Each will be posted in the appropriate assignment dropbox before the assignment due date or no credit will be given. Other formats can be used but must be approved by the instructor before you post the file for grading.
