Part 1: Each of the readings for this week use history to make a case for the future of the discipline. At times, authors advocate a continuity between the past, present, and future. At other times, they advocate distinct ruptures with the past. Craft a question about these readings which aims to provoke a discussion of historical continuity and rupture in architectural discourse.
