Historically juvenile justice

I need to respond to this question with 150 words with reference to support any information used in this response

Historically juvenile justice systems are much different than what we see today. What all has changed over time? Are these changes good or bad? Why or why not?

I completely agree with you that the toddler will become emotionally hurt if the parents “yell” at the child to stop talking and to sit down. I believe emotional abuse is more difficult to identify then physical, neglect and sexual abuse. The toddler does not walk around with brusies, dirty clothing and blood in their PANTS. With emotional abuse the Toddler can LOOK great but inside they are hurting. I do agree that parents may not be aware of the emotional suffering they are causing their child. I know as a parent, I have caught myslef and at times apologized to my child for reacting in a way that they did not deserve. I believe parenting is one of the toughest jobs, but is the most rewarding job when having the knowledge and skills to parent wisely. Thank you for your post.
