History Essay
Identify the four major river valley civilizations that emerged between 5000 and 2000 BCE. Where did they form and why did they form there? What environmental factors
were common to these civilizations? How did these factors influence their political and economic development?

answer. A better than average essay will incorporate material from our course readings (from Canvas and Fernandez-Armesto) and other sources. You must however, provide
citations and use an appropriate system of citation (i.e. MLA or the Chicago Manual of Style).
