History essay paper
These papers should be based on your viewing of a movies, video, or television program or an article you read in a periodical, magazine, or newspaper( online ok if you can clearly identify author and source) or a visit to a historic site or exhibit( double credit with only two papers allowed). The paper sources must depict in some way a theme drawn from the scope of this course(US history from 1865 to the present).
In your reaction paper you should: (1) briefly summarize the main elements of what you saw or read; (2) briefly explain what you regard as the strengths and weakness of your selection and any historical insights you gained.
