COMMUNITY EDUCATION INTERVENTION PAPER
In this paper, you will focus on ONE of the ?health needs? you identified in Part I.
Health need to focus on his raise of HIV in Bronx.
A minimum of 3 three scholarly sources written within the last 5 (five) years is required.
Identify a ?Health Need? which relates to your community from Part I of your Community Assessment. How does this ?health need? align with the Healthy People 2020 objectives (www.healthypeople.gov)? Complete a literature review that relates to the ?health need? you identified. Discuss the significance of the problem and relationship to the overall well-being of your community and support this problem with data collected from your community. Answer questions such as: Which problems are important to the community? Which segments of the population are most affected? What are the benefits to the community? What happens to the community or the population if the problem is or not resolved? How do politics, community values, and community priorities affect efforts to solve the problem? What does the community expect to happen? Once the high priority problem has been identified, relevant goals and objectives are developed.
