Argument needs to be supported by sociological research, referencing peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters and scholarly books. Use primary sources, Marx, Weber, Connell, Butler etc. When referring to statistics please use those from the Australian Bureau of Statistics, as I am a student in Australia. The text book for my Sociology unit is called Sociology by Robert van Krieken et al, please use it as a reference. Please refer to The Sociological Imagination – C. Wright Mills (1916-1962). And, if all possible, the key paradigms of Sociology, Functionalism, Conflict Theory and Symbolic Interactionism linking them to the essay question. The essay question is very broad, so to narrow it down, please focus on gender.
