Write a response that addresses the way setting is used in both stories. Some items you may want to address are how the setting influences the mood of the story, reflects ideas and concepts from the story, and influences the reader’s experience. Then, identify the exposition, rising action, climax, and resolution of one story. The portion of this assignment that addresses plot may be written in list or bullet form, but the section on setting must be written in complete sentences and paragraphs. There is no length requirement, as long as the assignment sufficiently addresses setting and plot.
