Choose an airline or organization that has been affected by Human Factors in Maintenance. The instructor must approve your proposed topic prior to Module 4; therefore you have until the end of Module 3 to submit the topic of your choice to your instructor via email. Remember, not all human factors are related to maintenance faults. Maintenance faults can be contributed from maintenance crew installing faulty components, interpreting ill-written publications, poor engineering designs, and so on. As Aviation Maintenance Manager, compare and contrast on how would failures from human factors impact flight schedules, routine and non-routine maintenance, and turnaround times. The first research paper will be submitted in a 5-8 pages essay. Note that 5-8 pages means 5-8 pages of double-spaced written material with 1-inch margins left, right, top and bottom. The title page, pictures, long quotations or multiple quotations will not count toward the 5-8 pages.
