The gods. What is the symbolic function of the gods in the Iliad? Pick TWO immortals and provide evidence of their words, deeds, interactions with mortals and other gods and how they might be understood symbolically. What does your reading add to your overall understanding of the text?

-Where you don?t require a full quotation, but you refer at all to the text, you must cite it.
Correct formatting for in-text citation and block quotations.
* If you don?t know how to do this, Google it and many sites will provide help and examples.
* A block of text that has no purpose is essentially wasting space and will actually detract from the flow of your argument. A Works Cited page is unnecessary unless you use secondary literature.
