Assignment: Based on the research paper proposal submitted during the fall-2017 semester, write a research paper that critically pursues an issue related to your field placement. The foundation of this paper has already been created through the proposal. NOTE: A poster presentation of this research paper will have to be presented on March 19th, 2018. A separate rubric and outline will be provided for this poster component.

Instructions:
Consider the following points as guidelines:
1. A brief, overall, general and contextualized introduction to the topic is helpful for the readers.
2. Bring your critical lens on board. When exploring issues, look at the “cause of the cause”. A critical analysis of an issue can add great depth to a research paper.
3. If it is an issue/conflict/problem you are looking at, consider proposing solution/treatment measures. These can be a combination of what you find in research, and/or something that you think is suitable but not tried yet.

Submitted paper will be subjected to review by Turnitin.com and subjected to plagiarism guidelines. The paper will also be marked using the rubric posted on Turnitin.com. Any paper without a pre-approved extension submitted after the deadline will be penalized as per FCSS departmental guidelines.
Technical Requirements:
Ø Length: 10 pages, double spaced, excluding the title page and bibliography
Ø APA Formatting – Running head, title page, page number, headings & sub-headings, 12-font, Times New Roman, double spaced.
Ø In-text citations – if there are external resources being used, they should be cited in-text, as well as in the bibliography
Ø Bibliography – Minimum 10 sources, as per APA guidelines
Evaluation: The paper will be marked using the associated rubric on Turnitin.com. The mark out of 100 will be converted out of 20 and posted on Dropbox.
